Project Overview

The Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital is the regions first fully comprehensive rehabilitation hospital creating the opportunity for people in the UAE to obtain world-class rehabilitative care in Abu Dhabi.

The Client acquired an existing partially built general hospital in 2016 for repurposing and with a tight timeline to complete as a fully functioning asset by 2018, the Client employed Stonewest (HK) as part of a highly specialized team with the knowledge and experience to facilitate the successful completion of the Project.

Key Successes

The design, delivery and installation of the Jura limestone for the cladding of the GF area to all external elevations
The design of the cladding system, including the support and restraint systems in accordance with the Architects design drawings
Quarry visits to Germany with the Client to select the finishes to the Jura stone
The supply and installation of the fire barrier systems
Installation of the Jura stone cladding, including the training of local workforce to meet international standards
