Brookwood Military Cemetery is the largest CWGC cemetery in the UK occupying approximately 37 acres.  It is the burial place of over 5,000 men and women from across the Commonwealth and 800 of other nationalities.  It was established as WWI drew to a close in 1917 and was further extended to accommodate the Commonwealth casualties of WW2.
