Case Study
Project Overview
Known as the ‘Ridge’, the Grade II listed 8 Pollock’s Path is said to be one of the earliest residences built on the Peak. Built sometime between 1880 and 1890, the single storey mansion was latterly used as the official residence of the French Consulate General while the current development see’s the retention of the original brick masonry facades as the key feature of a new luxury housing development.
The house occupies the highest point amongst other residential buildings and enjoys a wonderful 360-degree scenery of the Victoria Harbour.
Following a detailed cleaning and surveying process, Stonewest (HK)’s expert team have restored the mixture of classical features such as projecting cornices, egg and dart mouldings, column and arched window heads to the exacting standard such a prestigious location deserves.
