DescriptionExternal refurbishment of the façade of a Victorian Pumping Station built as part of the Sir Joseph Bazalgette extensive upgrade of London’s Sewerage System in the 1830’s. On investigation on the condition of the roof and cornice to the Pump House and the cast iron head of the chimney, further restoration and repair works were carried out.
