Christ’s Hospital School, Horsham – Water Tower
Originally founded in the 17th Century by King Edward VI, this historic private boarding school is mainly Victorian red brick construction with Bath stone detailing, set within extensive grounds on the outskirts of Horsham.
The works involved:
- The works entailed stone and brickwork conservation and restoration, removal of existing internal water tanks and installation of new galvanised steel staircase.
- All internal areas of original steel work were removed and made structurally sound.
- External stone and brickwork repairs using original materials.
